2002 News
December 8th: Bonjour! LOng time no see for the people that DO visit our site. But that long absnce of updating can only be a good thing. It means we were BUSY! So it is good. We didn't meet the expected date for an eventual album recording this year, so we've pushed it to March 2003, where we WILL, finally record. The name chosen (for now) is Ultima Spiritus. Title may change as we get nearer to the deadline.
Next update will be soon, and we promise...SOON! See ya!

August 13th: Greetings. Band activities had been halted for three weeks because of family vacations. Now we're back and preparing a line of shows during the school year. Preparations for recording our first full-fledged album are underway as we'll hopefully enter studios in the fall. This is a small update, but it's all we have to divulge up this far. have a good day!

June 21st: Hey people! Fearsome played a gig on the 18th of July. The event was the Summer Splash 2002 in Charlo. We had an hour of stagetime. This is the set list which we played:
*=Fearsome song
1. Intro: Overkill riff from the song "Who Tends The Fire", album "The Years of Decay"
2. "Enter Sandman", Metallica, album "Metallica"
3. Metal Scar*
4. Pyrogen*
- Lead Guitar solo by Matthew
5. Master of Puppets, Metallica, album "Master of Puppets"
6. Dragon Fire*
- Rythym Guitar solo by Nick
7. "For Whom The Bell Tolls", Metallica, album "Ride The Lightning"
8. Holy's Savior*
9. Life Begins Again*
- Drum solo by Serge
10. Twisted Path*
That's the list we played. That was the band's 7th show. In the first week of August, Fearsome will celebrate its 3rd year of foundation. Nicholas Plourde and Patrick Boudreau founded the band in the first week of August 1999. Not many "school bands" live up to three years of existence, so it's something special for us.
That's all for now, stay tuned, goodbye.

June 7th: Hey everyone!. Now, I'll try to update the page more frequently. I have more time to do this stuff. Alright, to begin with, Mark Thomas who was keyboardist has left after being in the band for a short period. It's not that he wasn't good, but it was just taking too much time to compose music. We had plans, and it had to roll, so after he left things started to get into place.
Then, our bassist that had been on and off with us, is off again. So he's out, and we think for good, he just doesn't have enough time for a band. After being left down to three members, Benoit had to leave as well because he needs to prepare for post-secondary studies.
Just when we are left at the two original members, Serge and I, Nick, we've "hired" a new lead guitarist. Now this dude is a little younger than us, but not that much, his name is Matthew Robichaud and he is one hell of a heavy metallist. So a great welcome to the new Fearsome musician!

April 13th: Howdy! For about a week now, we have "hired" a new Fearsome dude im the band. The name is Mark Thomas and from now on he'll be abusing the keyboard for us. Yes, we do mean KEYBOARD. This instrument, new to Fearsome, will not change our music style, but will enhance it. We will not exactly sound like these but we will ressemble to Dream Theater and Cradle Of Filth in certain ways. We will always have that Metallica influence in us, that will stay with us forever. Thus, creating our own sound that can only be called Fearsome music. that's all for now, see y'all!

February 24th: Hey people! The site is now working perfect. We had a hard time figuring out what wasn't working well in the page links.
Here is a resume of what has happened in the last three months:
Sébastien decided to leave the group somewhere close to Christmas for a reason kept between us all. Benoit then re-joined the group and as fast as 1-2-3, we were composing our own music. We composed 5 songs:
Metal Scar, Life Begins Again, Twisted Path, Pyrogen and Don't Drift Away.
Fearsome is getting ready for their first line of shows for 2002. We may be going to the Battle Of The Bands here in Campbellton sometime in the March break. We'll also be playing at our school's variety show that will take place sometime in April or May.That is all for now, see ya'll.
